In addition to being a Licensed Massage Therapist and Reiki Master I am also a Registered Nurse. I have been practicing Massage Therapy for the last 22 years, and Reiki since 1988. I received my initial massage training at Lakeside School of Massage in Milwaukee, WI. Lakeside was an excellent school and I received a unique and very thorough education. After graduating from Lakeside's program, I began working for the school and eventually became a Massage Therapy instructor.
Throughout my career , aside from having a very successful private practice, I have also worked for several spas, health clubs, specialized massage clinics, as well as sharing patients and working with medical doctors and chiropractors. I have learned and have been trained in many different techniques and modalities, which has allowed me to develop an approach to Massage Therapy and Bodywork that is both unique and effective. Some of the techniques and modalities that I use and have integrated into my practice are: Swedish Massage, Deep tissue massage, Sports massage, Trigger point, and Myofascial release, Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), and Esalen® Massage.
